Bank of Communications 2020 ITTF Finals Semifinals

On third day on Bank of Communications 2020 ITTF Finals, we are now down to final 4 in both men’s and women’s category. We have the results of semi finals and the contestants in the finals tomorrow will be a repeat of last year ITTF Grand finals 2019.

Men’s Singles Semifinals

• Fan Zhendong of China defeated Jang Woojin of Korea 4-1 (11-8, 11-4, 13-15, 11-8, 11-5) , Jang gave a tough fight to Fan but ultimately Fan has answers to all Jang’s tactics.
• Ma Long defeated Xu Xin 4-1 (11-13, 11-9, 11-9, 11-8, 11-7), Xu won the first set but Ma Long took control of the game and won the next 4 sets.

Women’s Singles Semifinals

• Chen Meng defeated Sun Yingsha 4-0 (11-9, 11-8, 11-8, 12-10), Chen was in full control in all the sets and won in straight sets.
• Wang Manyu defeated Mima Ito of Japan 4-0 (11-3, 11-4, 11-9, 11-6), Mima was struggling throughout the game and was defeated completely by Chinese Wang Manyu.
