The Story

Let’s be honest — keeping score in table tennis can be chaos at a times. You’re mid-rally, the game suddenly slows down… “Wait — was it 7–5 or 8–6?” Momentum gone. Focus gone. Game vibe — gone.

That inspired Rebound — a new Apple Watch app built to make scorekeeping effortless. No clunky-phones-in-pockets, no interruptions, no arguments. Just tap your wrist, stay in the rally, and keep the game moving.

One app, all your racket sports

Rebound supports all major racket sports — table tennis, tennis, padel, pickleball, squash, and badminton. Each one follows its authentic scoring system and comes with its own color theme that matches the sport’s vibe. For table tennis, you can choose between Best of 7 games, Best of 5 games, (11 point games — win by 2 points) or a relaxed Party Mode for endless play — perfect for casual games with friends. It also shows which side serves next.

Made by a player, not a company

Rebound wasn’t built by a studio — it was built by a player who got tired of losing track of the score mid-match. I started coding just to fix that problem, and it grew into something that now works for over twenty sports. I’m constantly improving it, adding new sports, and tweaking features based on feedback from real players. Because at the end of the day, it’s not about tech — it’s about keeping the focus where it belongs: on the game.

What’s next for Rebound

Future updates aim to make the experience even smoother. I’m exploring options for voice feedback, so the app could announce the score out loud. I’m also considering serve indicators, visually showing which player serves next and from which side.

What I don’t plan to do, however, is turn Rebound into a data-heavy, professional analytics tool. That was never the goal. I’m not a professional athlete myself, and out of respect for players who compete seriously, I’d rather keep the app focused on intuitive scorekeeping.

So…

If you’ve ever lost track of the score mid-rally, Rebound Score Tracker might just become your secret weapon. Try it out, share your thoughts, and help shape what comes next.
