• Portugal’s Marcos Freitas defeated Indian opponent Mudit Dani (11-4, 11-2, 11-5, 11-5)
• France Emmanuel Lebesson toppled Bastian Steger 4-2 (14-12, 11-6, 9-11, 11-3, 9-11, 11-5)

Womens’ Category

• Laura Gasnier beat Sutirtha Mukherjee in seven set game (11-8, 11-5, 6-11, 8-11, 7-11, 11-8, 11-6)
• Shiomi beat India’s Madhurika Patkar (11-7, 11-8, 9-11, 11-5, 11-1)
