Maharu Yoshimura wins Men’s Singles at WTT Feeder Bangkok

Japanese Table Tennis player Maharu Yoshimura claimed the Men’s Singles championship title at WTT Feeder Bangkok 2023. The talented superstar has been searching for this title for quite sometime and he has finally grabbed the title in Bangkok. Maharu has gained up a 57 ranking jump and is now world rank #77.

Men’s Singles

Yoshimura faced 18-year-old China’s Huang Youzheng in the final. Yoshimura defeated Huang in straight sets with a dominant 3-0 victory (11-8, 11-8, 11-7).

“This match was quite difficult. There were many obstacles. I nearly lost several times, but I made it. I feel grateful to the fan club for supporting me, there were people who came to take pictures and wanted my autograph. Thank you to the Thai fans for supporting me.”

Women’s Singles

Japan’s Sakura Mori won the womens’ singles title at WTT Feeder Bangkok 2023. Sakura faced 23-year-old Japan’s Sasao in the title match. Sakura defeated Sasao in a three straight games to grab the women singles title 3-0.
