Ping Pong(Table Tennis) is a sport easy to get into but difficult to master. In tennis, you have to spend so much time into fitness, learning techniques till you start enjoying the start but at amateur levels in table tennis, anyone can get started without much training. Though at higher level, both techniques and fitness are important in table tennis as well.

  • Ping Pong - To play table tennis, you just need a table and pair of rackets. If you don’t have table tennis table, you can just start playing on your dining table.

  • Tennis - In Tennis, you need to have a proper court and need to have proper equipments.

  • Ping Pong - Another benefit is relatively less costly to begin with as the price of beginner rackets, table tennis balls are also less costly. But as you go for higher level rackets with custom composite rackets, custom rubbers than the cost goes higher. You also need to regularly replace your rubbers depending on how much you play with them. Table tennis accessories are comparatively cheaper.

  • Tennis - The beginner rackets are also less costly but at higher level the rackets are more costly as you have to get your rackets restrung quite often. If you are heaviy topspin player, then your strings need more stringing more often. The cost of accessories is also costly in tennis.

Coaching/Partners are easier to find

  • Ping Pong - You can find partner to play Ping Pong quite easily as the sport played by a lot of people. Every school, college, workplace usually have multiple tables. Coaches are also quite often available depending on area.

  • Tennis - Difficult to find playing partner where you can play and enjoy competitively. Lot of newbies don’t know playing techniques for playing tennis. Coaches are also difficult to find in tennis and are rather expensive.
