Borussia Düsseldorf won their 33rd German club championship in front of their home crowd. The record champions secured a 3-1 victory in the Liebherr TTBL Final against FC Saarbrücken TT at Castello in Düsseldorf. The event had an audience of 2,700 Table Tennis enthusiastic spectators.

Borussia Düsseldorf defeated 1. FC Saarbrücken TT with a 3:1 overall scoreline. The team event features a best of 5 set showdown.
Anton Kallberg defeated Patrick Franziska with a clutch game in a scoreline of 3:2 (7:11, 7:11, 11:9, 11:6, 12:10)
Dang Qiu didn’t face much of challenge against Darko Jorgic and won with a 3:1 set score (11:8, 11:1, 10:12, 11:1)
Timo Boll couldn’t feel his rhythm against Takuya Jin and lost with a set score of 1:3 (6:11, 11:8, 9:11, 9:11)
Anton Kallberg sealed the game for Borussia by defeating Darko Jorgic in straight sets with a score of 3:0 (11:8, 12:10, 11:9)
