We have a new entry of table tennis rackets from Boldfit brand that sells many different sports products in India. Boldfit currently sells a set of Wooden table tennis rackets which is intended for beginners & hobby players. In this review, we’ll explore its build quality, rubber type, performance, and overall value to help you decide if this is the right entry-level set for you & is it really worth the price?

What’s in the package of Boldfit Wood Table Tennis Racquet Set?

Boldfit Racket set is a complete set of 2 table tennis rackets and 3 table tennis balls. You will not find a table tennis racket cover in this set.

The rackets have black and red rubbers on both side. The handle is quite beautiful with black body & orange + white lining. If you are into aesthetics of your racket, this is a beautiful paddle.

You get 3 orange colored balls in the set. Personally I like to have a combination of orange and white balls with me depending on the room and light.

Build Quality of rackets

The Boldfit rackets are well-constructed all-wood blades with smooth, normal rubbers on both red and black sides. The grip is comfortable and firm, allowing good wrist movement and control.

Compared to many other low-cost beginner sets, the wood thickness and rubber adhesion are impressive. You won’t find any loose edges or uneven bounce.

Note: Both sides have plain rubbers — there are no pimples (pips-out) on either side.

If you’re looking for a bat with one pimpled and one smooth side for both offensive and defensive play, this may not be the one.

Spin and Speed

Since the racket doesn’t have heavy sponge, this racket focuses on speed. The plain rubber surface allows players to perform flat shots. You can also do some spin but you will have to use lot of strength to generate it.

However, since both sides are smooth, spin based shots (like topspin or chopping) might be a bit less forgiving with this racket.

Control and Feel

For an entry-level setup, the balance between power and control is solid. You can execute precise drives without much vibration.

The handle’s ergonomic design ensures a secure grip during longer rallies.

Review of the Boldfit Table Tennis Balls

The Boldfit balls are recreational level table tennis balls which are three 40mm balls made of plastic. The quality of balls is sort of one star table tennis balls. However if we compare the Boldfit balls with Stiga cup balls, later are much better. You should use these balls to learn the basics and enjoy the sport. Once you are comfortable, you would need to learn spin aspect of the game.

What Could Be Better with Boldfit set
