Lin Yun Ju wins Men’s singles title at WTT Contender Almaty

Lin Yun Ju of Taipei has won Men’s Singles title at WTT Contender, Almaty 2023. This is his first WTT title in the 2023. The current World Rank #9 has finally regained his form in this WTT Contender event. 🥇⁠

Men’s Singles

Lin Yun-Ju took the title with ease as he defeated China’s Xiang Peng with a 4-1 victory (4-11, 12-10, 15-13, 11-9, 11-7)

Women’s Singles

Kuai Man of China beat China’s Fan Siqi in four straight games to seal the deal (11-6, 12-10, 11-8, 11-6). This is another powerful performance by the 19 year old star. ⁠

Women’s Doubles

China’s team Chen Yi/Kuai Man claimed another title in the women’s double category. They defeated their China’s rival Liu Weishen and Fan Siqi in a 3-1 score. ⁠

Men’s Doubles

China’s Lin Shidong/Xu Yingbin defeated Korea’s Cho Seungmin and Lee Sang Su in a 3-1 scoreline.

Mixed Doubles

Korea’s Cho Daeseong/Joo Cheonhui claimed the Mixed doubles title. Joo Cheonhui and Cho Daeseong defeated last year’s winners Chen Szu-Yu and Lin Yun-Ju (11-8, 11-7, 4-11, 11-6).
