The WTT Star Contender London 2025 is just around the corner — and England’s next generation is ready to take centre stage.
From October 21–26, the Copper Box Arena, London England will host world-class action featuring a mix of rising British players and international stars battling across Singles, Doubles, and Mixed events for prize money around $250,000.

Day 2 of the Women’s Singles Round of 64 at the WTT Europe Smash 2025 in Malmö, Sweden brought fireworks on court. Sreeja Akula defeated Manika Batra while top seeds including Sun Yingsha, Chen Meng, and Mima Ito advanced smoothly. Europe’s hopes were kept alive by Bernadette Szőcs and Sofia Polcanova.

In the Women’s Championship, Romania has reached the final after a splendid performance from Bernadette Szocs. German Women team also reached the final and this will be sixth time both teams will face each other. In the Men’s Championship, Germany has defeated Portugal in the semi final.

In the WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2023, Romanian Table Tennis star Bernadette Szőcs has reached the quarter-finals by defeating India’s Manika Batra in 5 set showdown. This was a spectacular match in which both players were tested to the limit.
