ITTF Challenger Plus Oman Open 2020 finals, India’s Achanta Sharath Kamal won Gold in Men’s Singles category defating Portugal’s Marcos Freitas respectively. 37-year-old Indian outclassed top seeded Marcos Freitas after being down for first set. In Women’s Category Japan’s Hitomi Sato grabbed Gold medal defeating Kato from Japan.

ITTF Oman Open semi finals, India’s Achanta Sharath Kamal and Harmeet desai are going to face Kirill Skachkov and Portugal’s Marcos Freitas respectively. ITTF Oman open is the final event before the ITTF events suspension due to coronavirus - COVID-19.

ITTF Oman Open day 5, Marcos Freitas will take on Pistez Lubomir of Slovakia. Marcos Freitas is coming back in good form and it seems like he might be on the path to gain his first 2020 title. India’s Achanta Sharath Kamal will face Khanin Aliaksandr of Belarus on day 5. Belgium LAMBIET Florent will face WANG Yang of Slovakia.

ITTF Platinum event, Qatar Open 2020 was full of surpises. The event was action packed and full of upsets and comebacks. Liam Pitchford defeated World No 1 Xu Xin. Fan Zhendong came back against an impressive Wang Chuqin.

Wang Chuqin, 19 year old sensation from China just defeated Ma Long in R16 and Liang Jingkun in Quater Finals and will face World Rank 2 Fan Zhendong from China.

In Qatar Open Semi Finals today, Ding Ning will take on Mima Ito and Chen Meng will battle with Wang Manyu. China’s Ding Ning earlier faced Japan’s Mima Ito in ITTF Platinum Event, German Open 2020. Ding Ning won that battle in 4-1. Will Mima be looking to take the revenge in the Qatar Open ?

China’s Liang Jingkun defeated Japan’s Jun Mizutani in an epic battle after being 0-3 down. He won the game at 4-3. Another upset was done by China’s Wang Chuqin who defeated defending champion Ma Long 4-3, saving 2 match points in set 6.
