In the Women’s Championship, Romania has reached the final after a splendid performance from Bernadette Szocs. German Women team also reached the final and this will be sixth time both teams will face each other. In the Men’s Championship, Germany has defeated Portugal in the semi final.

Well, what a journey this has been for super talented Marcos Freitas who has finally lifted his first WTT Series Singles title 🏆 on 6th August 2023.

ITTF Challenger Plus Oman Open 2020 finals, India’s Achanta Sharath Kamal won Gold in Men’s Singles category defating Portugal’s Marcos Freitas respectively. 37-year-old Indian outclassed top seeded Marcos Freitas after being down for first set. In Women’s Category Japan’s Hitomi Sato grabbed Gold medal defeating Kato from Japan.
