Table Tennis is my main sport and I enjoy playing it a lot, recently a friend of mine told me to try Squash. He told me that it is physically demanding sport and I thought let’s try squash, it’s is would be a completely new experience for me. I decided to buy a racket and double dot squash ball. I heard that professional play with double dot and I also liked the double dot, they are sort of cute so I bought that ball. I called a friend(regular squash enthusiast) who lives nearby and we went to play at a local squash court.

Table Tennis has been played since the beginning of 19th century, yet it was introduced in Olympics 1988. Ever since the introduction in Olympics, table tennis has gained more popularity around the globe. Easy to learn but difficult to master. But there are professional paddlers who are masters and there are few more that have achieved everything in table tennis, notably the Grand Slam.

Table Tennis is enjoyable and anyone who starts playing gets literally glued to the game. When you have a playing partner you enjoy the most. However it is not possible to have a training partner/opponent every time you want to play. What would you do in such cases when you don’t have a playing partner ? Your objective is to just play alone or even improve.

Recently I was wondering how does a table tennis ball differ based on the weight and size of balls from other racket sports. This is interesting because the size and shape of ball affect the physics of any game and how that particular sports racket is created. Table tennis racket is made of rubber(sometimes composite) but most other rackets mostly use different type of strings or paddles. For any table tennis player, it is important to know the quality of the ball. Table Tennis Manufacturers create various star balls depending on the quality. Every star balls is different from other and for various reason. Recently I saw image related to four side table tennis and this concept really made me think about new possible format. 🤩 4 side table tennis concept, looks interesting.
