Indian paddler Sathiyan Gnanasekaran clinched the men’s singles crown at the WTT Feeder Vientiane 2025 held at the ITECC Mall, Laos, with a flawless performance in the final against Japan’s top seed Ryoichi Yoshiyama.

In the latest edition of WTT world Rankings, some of the top Indian players have dropped out of top 100 WTT rankings. Manika Batra has dropped just one ranking point and she is WR #36 as of now. Harmeet Desai ranking has increased to WR #62 from #63 from last week.

Harmeet Desai, the talented Indian table tennis player, is undoubtedly one of the best players who is rising up the rankings fast. With his exceptional attacking skills, serves, determination, and passion for the game, Desai has risen through the ranks and become a prominent figure in the international table tennis scene. Currently(Dated 24 July 2023) India’s rank no 1 and WTT rank 64 is doing his best in UTT(Ultimate Table Tennis) League in India.

Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) is coming back with a bang, the Ultimate Table Tennis is a professional table tennis league in India. It features teams composed of both Indian and international players. The event will start and complete from July 13, 2023 to July 30, 2023. The current season will feature top Indian players such as Sharath Kamal, Sathiyan, Manika, Harmeet Desai, Manav Thakkar and top foreign players such as Quadri Aruna, Kirill Gerassimenko, Omar Assar, Lily Zhang, Suthasini Sawettabut, Benedikt Duda etc. See full list below.

UTT National Ranking Table Tennis Championships 2022, Surat has finally concluded with India’s top ranked table tennis player Sathiyan Gnanasekaran winning the Men’s final of the tournament. In Women’s Category, Reeth Rishya won in the singles category.

ITTF World Table Tennis Championship are scheduled to happen in May 2023 in Durban, South Africa. The event will take place between 20th May 2023 to 28th May 2023. WTTC is one of the premium events in table tennis and certainly everyone would be looking to get their hands on the trophy. Sathiyan Gnanasekaran and Manika Batra from India reaches their highest world ranking of 10 in the latest ITTF rankings for mixed doubles category. Currently the mixed double pair have reached 909 ITTF ranking points and they have done solid in their recent tournaments.

The campaign, in partnership with GoSports Foundation , aims to raise Rs 10 lakh and each of the 100 identified people will receive Rs 10000 each.
